This is the place that we had the quilt retreat, it's a back view but it was huge. The place was completely remodel and their was three floors. I had such a great time I was so glad Katie came it just made it so much more fun. I really miss our fun sewing days we had. Below our a couple projects that we finished. I'll let Katie talk about her's mine is the witch on the left. It's a buggy barn pattern and it was quite interesting technic in cutting and piecing. You stack all fat quarters on top of each other and cut out the witch with a pattern on top and then you move different pieces to the bottom so all of the witches are different. It took me a little bit to figure out but it turned out cute.... Its hard to tell but the witches legs are dangling. I would defenitly do a pattern like this again at least next time will know what to do.
I had other projects but they are gifts so I cant show them until I give them away so I will show them in a little bit. I also made an apron that I just finished but I haven't taken pic's of it so I'll get those on later...

Okay, so you have no idea who I am-I'm Liz Nixon's cousin, but I want to know what pattern the witch wall hanging is. It's SO cute! I have the perfect layer cake to use. :)
It came out of the book... The frightfully Crazy, The Buggy Barn!!
It takes 9 fat quarters and you use all of it so I dont know if you could use a layer cake unless you shrunk the pattern and that would make it a little tricky, the pieces would be tiny. But who knows it might be fun!!!
